I'm Terry--the mom of this fabulous family which God designed. I grew up in an Air Force family and traveled the world before attending college and working as a Registered Nurse in Texas. In order to relax from the stressors of being a pediatric nurse, I kept active in dancing and competitive figure skating. That's how I met my most-terrific husband! He was a professional figure skater, too! Raising a family and pointing others to the cross is what we do now. If you see me around town, I might be driving our "school" bus to or from one of our home school activities, working with teenagers, or going to church. It is a privilege to serve at Christ Community Church with the Junior High students! Position/Years with 20.20: Sr. High 1st year. Led a group with previous Youth Pastor John Favorite hobby: Raising English Springer Spaniels. Favorite snack item: Pretty much anything chocolate! Summary of my walk with the Lord: I came to know Christ at age 22 and was immersed in baptism at that time. I have been serving Him and growing through, in depth study of the bible since then. The two ministries that have most impacted my spiritual growth are AWANA and BSF (Bible Study Fellowship). I am passionate about studying the Bible with others, especially women. Why do I serve in 20.20 Student Ministries: I am serving in 20.20 because there was a need and I love kids. I've also had the privilege of accompanying the youth group on many trips, including to the District Youth Conference, to the National Youth Conference, and on multiple mission trips. Why do you serve in 20.20 Student Ministries? My own teenage years were wild and troubled. I have been a dedicated follower since my Junior year in high school...it hasn't always been easy, but it has always been rewarding in the end...God has never been unfaithful to me, but for some reason He always seems to find ways to show me something new and exciting about how to live each day...
